Last night Mom and I went down to see Cozy for a visit. Our cats Winter, Roo and Midnight were in the house when we left.

When we came back Lilly the chicken was gone. We looked all over for her, but we could not find her.

I was sitting on the couch and I found a piece of sawdust on Winter’s tail. I have a suspicion that the sawdust I found on Winter’s tail was from Lilly’s cage.

When I introduced Winter to Lilly earlier in the day, he was shocked. I think he was so shocked that he wanted to eat her.

We have not heard Lilly’s peeping at all.
